Breaking the record, over 600,000 attendees in six days visiting EICMA 2024, Viettron Technology was pleased to join the success at Rho Fiera Milano this year. More than 770 representing 45 countries and 2163 brands participated, in line with the number that more than 38 thousand professionals coming from 126 different nations participated in the event.

Viettron participated in EICMA in Milan Italy for the first time from the 5th to 10th of November 2024. We accompanied this show with ITRI, E-Tree Go, and Buima Energy to display not only Viettron’s self-developed components such as PCU, VCU, and motor but also those partners’ items with the purpose of presenting the theme as well as the position of Veittron: a total solution provider for light electric vehicles and an eco-system of electricity from generating, charging, and storing as the e-mobility development of EV.

The purpose of this participation is to (re-)establish the market in Europe, collect current market information and build networks, and then importantly, we develop strategies accordingly. Clientele information collected is allocated to different categories when most of them are from Europe and the rest is from the North America and Asia. The sector of the majority of visitors is in e-scooters, and other two categories are e-bike as well as lite e-scooters, and e-motorcycles. Different L-category vehicles are in need of different voltage platforms providing information for Viettron to reconsider current modules and components to apply for those requirements. 

Moreover, positive takeaways from this participation are that some good leads are already in progress. Their status is for example, requesting a RFQ, forming a MoU, and creating sales proposals. However, while we have potential prospects, market information about electrification in Europe affects our sales and marketing strategies. Insufficient charging infrastructure is one of the factors to cause the EV slow-down development. Large companies are experiencing financial crisis due to the global economic impact. 

This EICMA is the first large international trade show Viettron participated in. Essential leads and information are in hand, epsecially about networking and european market insights help us reflect strategic plans for the year of 2025. Electrified is slow-down but this is the trend in next five years as EICMA is the event gathering professionals, experts, suppliers, and even consumers to join the vehicle innovation. Viettron is for sure to be a member to participate in this vehicle transformation process. We are looking forward to the next EICMA.
